Mission and Vision

Mission-and-Vision

Every group has a culture but not every group takes the time to define what culture they want to have.

After prayerful consideration and discussion as a community, we agreed that this is what we want our culture to look like (we’re a work in progress!)

  • Honour - Giving respect and value to everyone, living with gratitude, being willing to learn.
  • Generosity - Giving sacrificially, showing kindness to everyone, serving with excellence.
  • Inclusiveness - Welcoming others, accepting people as they are, demonstrating patience and forgiveness to all.
  • Authenticity - Being real, walking in integrity, pursuing purity, living without masks.
  • Courage - Growing in risk-taking faith, stepping out in boldness and creativity.

We are a church family of all ages, cultures, and walks of life from Porirua, Wellington, Hutt Valley, and the Kāpiti Coast.  We meet together in Porirua and Kāpiti on Sunday mornings and throughout the region in smaller settings during the week, with a vision to see groups established right across the Wellington region.

Our passion is to see God’s kingdom expressed and experienced among us and through us - bringing freedom, forgiveness, and healing to people. We are committed to equip and empower every believer to represent and advance the kingdom in all areas of their life. We believe that God wants to transform our lives, families, schools, workplaces, cities, and nations, through encountering Jesus Christ.

We are part of the wider Newfrontiers family of churches, with congregations across the globe.  We have a heart for all of New Zealand, with sister churches in New Plymouth, Nelson and Christchurch.
