King’s Church has an active and fun life outside of a Sunday meeting. For us Church is about being a community of people who know God’s presence every day. So that means being Church together through the week too.

We focus our activity during the week through our small groups. At the moment we have 6 adult groups and 3 youth groups. These meet from Wellington City to the Kapiti coast and many places in-between. The groups are small enough to be like family and diverse enough for everyone to feel they fit in.

There’s always a main focus to coming together each week in someone’s home. We meet to celebrate Jesus together. There’ll be encouragement, worship, prayer, a focus on the word and breaking bread together. There’s lots of variety.

Outside of just meeting together, we have times of fun, friendship, shared activity and mutual help. Barbeque’s, sailing, decorating projects, going to the cinema, it’s whatever each group loves doing. It’s all about being the family of God together.
