We are people who’s lives have been changed through meeting and knowing Jesus Christ.

King’s Church was founded by a team led by Pete and Julie Henare in September 2002. Throughout 2002/3 families from Newfrontiers churches in the UK moved out to join the new churchplant. Since then the church has grown into a vibrant church community with a great vision for the future. There’s more about the leaders here.

Our aim is to be a people of all ages and cultures that represent Jesus to our community. Our vision is to plant churches throughout the Wellington region and beyond, reaching other nations with the good news about Jesus.

Whether you’re looking for a local church family or simply interested in finding out more about the Christian faith, you’d be most welcome to visit us on Sunday mornings. We meet at Paremeta School at 10.30am on Sundays when we celebrate the presence of Jesus and all he has done for us. We worship through songs, prayers and gifts of the Spirit, share news and have teaching from the bible. We’d love to chat with you over refreshments afterwards.
